Babble is a live data visualisation tool for Heineken that tracks beer brands performance on social platforms.
Heineken wanted to incentivise brand managers to improve their social media presence. We designed and built a responsive web app that visualises the company’s many beer brands as well as those of their main rivals. The app compares brands day to day social performance. It visualises the daily rate of change, so whether you’re managing Foster’s or Zywiec, all that matters is that days improvement.

Although the app performs an extremely functional task, to ensure that users want to keep coming back, we created playful, interactive bubbles that could be tipped, dragged and poked.
Tracking performance across Twitter, YouTube and Facebook creates a wealth of data. For more detailed analysis, users can switch to a graph view.
Flexible and light
Babble tracked over 250 brands so it was important the user interface was flexible, discreet and could accommodate each brand’s colour palette.
